Silk Route Charitable Trust’ was created to lay pathways for the knowledge to flow in the field of art in Tamil Nadu. While we are taking small steps to realize our dream, the need to establish a publishing house as part of ‘Silk Route’ has become so obvious. Language is the soul of a culture. The art forms of a particular culture are always entangled with its language. They nourish each other.

In Tamil language, efforts will be taken to create new writings on Theatre, to publish play scripts (mainly focusing young audience) and translate the works of masters from outside world. ‘Silk Route Publications’ will bridge the gap between the theatre and the language, in our present times in Tamil Nadu.
